A sweet and caring girl whose purpose in life is to protect her world. Though amnesiac and living in a foreign world, she carries out her underlying Descender-like instincts to help those in need. Though she often frets about her femininity, she can't and won't ever say no to do what needs to be done for the good of the people, even if that means spending a night in a barrel while spying on enemies.

Kanonno is a Descender from the world of Pasca. A lifeform born from a World Tree. They have no past, or families. They have unique power comparable to God-like for the sole purpose of cleansing whatever plague is infesting their world, but can only be used when their homeworld is in extreme desperate need. Unfortunately, they are as faulty as any human.

Kanonno is a prime example of what happens to a world if its Descender loses their way. The world of Pasca is one engulfed in strife and war. It was quickly heading down the path of self-annihilation, hence why Pasca's world tree birthed Kanonno. Trying her best for as long as she could, her efforts were fruitless and Pasca plunges further to destruction. Unable to take the death and destruction any longer, Kanonno used her power as a Descender to complete obliterate every last human being on Pasca.

Emotionally broken at what she has done, Widdershin and the grotesque node that was once the world of Gilgulim arrived at Pasca. Widdershin offered Kanonno a proposal: Allow Pasca to be devoured by Gilgulim, and he will one day restore Pasca when Gilgulim is restored. Kanonno agreed, and Pasca was no more. Kanonno served Widdershin by using her power to weaken the world tree of other worlds so that Gilgulim can devour them without resistance.

At least, until they arrive at Terresia, where Kanonno was resisted by the World Tree and blown out of the town of Ailily. She awoke to find herself in the care of Ad Libitum, lead by the mercenary, Kratos Aurion. Kanonno now had no memories of what transpired previously, other than her name. Believing in Kratos's cause, Kanonno joined Ad Libitum and served the public trust...

Until Widdershin inevitably returns.
